Greetings from the Australian Greens bunker. I can report all your favourite Green MPs are hunkered down here, painstakingly avoiding any public statement, dodging the media and when time allows, assuming the foetal position, rocking slowly from side to slide, murmuring gently, “Everything’s fine, everything’s fine.”
The one exception is Lee Rhiannon, who last week was told by the party’s National Council to go and sit in the naughty corner and think about what she did. She didn’t and hasn’t.
Rather she wrote an Op-Ed in the Sydney Morning Herald yesterday advising the Greens were an undemocratic disgrace but only with her careful management and that of her NSW branch colleagues could it become a beacon of participatory democracy. I recommend you read it just for laughs.

I see the coalition and their lobbyist are continuing to attack the lowest paid in the Nation. Probably will break another election promise and continue to force down wages. No surprises.

I forgot to add this from the coalitions preferred modelling company.
“The RepuTex modelling also found the economics of the national electricity market no longer supported traditional baseload generation – such as coal power plants that were unable to respond flexibly to demand – and so they would not be built without the government distorting the market.”
But wait there’s more from the coalitions preferred modellers “Reputex”? “The more ambitious a clean energy target is, the lower Australian wholesale electricity prices will be, according to new modelling by energy analysis firm RepuTex.” No Surprises.
Oh dear. But wait the Federal Minister responsible is blaming the state governments. The coalition are devoid of answers apart from it was them not us. 30% more expensive in QLD? No Surprises.

I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that the Pies will not make the four this year.
Last electricity bill came in at $106.80 after discount for on time payment. Divide that by four, $26.70 owed by me. Am I scared of a ten percent increase? No.
.
SOLAR..panels! La la la la la la solar panels! Five thousand of my own dollars set my people free!!!!!! Now I have cheap electricity. Elon ‘s throwing in a battery… La la la ladeee leeeee….
Not bad for a two headed South Aussie
1./ It ain’t built yet.
2./ 100mwh powers a small train set.
Lets see a state government can lead the world and provide energy back up for about $100 million to power a “small train set” or the Nation can spend $1 billion for a train line to nowhere that will never return its investment. We see mad barnaby calling for the socialist response and have taxpayers distort the market.
