Denis Ryan has had a busy time of it. On the 86-year-old former cop’s call list this morning was the Washington Post, the BBC and a courtesy call from the Victorian Premier, Dan Andrews.

The cop who tried to prosecute one of the most prolific paedophile priests in our history 46 years ago and came off second best received a compensation payment from the Andrews government yesterday. The undisclosed amount is one Ryan is satisfied with.

There have been a few backslappers step forward in the last 24 hours. In a tweet yesterday, senator Derryn Hinch described Ryan as “one of the bravest, moral men I have ever known.” Hinch might know of Ryan but he’s never met him.

Even scarier….is this….I and my family will DEFINITELY be opting out of the My Health data sharing fiasco. Bloody hell the Liberals can’t even hold on to their own Cabinet papers. Imagine if insurance companies or employees get hold of your medical records…you could be ruled out of jobs, life and travel insurance…the fact that they are AUTOMATICALLY making your records universal rather than asking everybody to OPT IN makes me smell a rat. I don’t trust the Liberals with my metadata. They have already stolen enough and cannot even look after their own Cabinet documents which are supposed to be Top Secret! Notice how sneaky and quietly all this is being done….a short window period to opt out BUT NO INFORMATION ON HOW TO!
Every Australian should listen to this:-

I sent an email to a friend yesterday using bigpond via Telstra , not Gmail or the likes, and happened to mention a town in Tassie.
Well today I am getting mail about accommodation in that town etc etc.
Everything we write is watched. Scary stuff.

It doesnt have to be Gmail Boa, they all read every email you send and on sell your information to marketing companies. Dont ever put anything on the net you dont want the whole world to know, because the second you ‘send’ the whole world does know. You may as well get on your roof and shout your private life.
      cheers.
