Psst. Anyone know where I can get my hands on some top-secret documents?
Never mind. It turns out they can be purchased in second-hand stores. Look for locked filing cabinets without keys, collapsible document files that read “Top Secret” or “AUSEO” (Australian Eyes Only), or brown paper bags marked “Cabinet-in-Confidence”.
Welcome to the thigh-slapping comedy that is the commonwealth of Australia.
Perhaps we shouldn’t be too harsh. This could be a brilliant ruse. Certainly, the Chinese will be completely confounded by it. They’ve been spending the big bucks on electronic surveillance and satellite tracking to get access to national security information when all they really needed was to drive around Canberra and do a spot of low-level antiquing.

You will all realise that I am not a member of the CFMEU (to my knowledge at least). But this is outrageous:

Fair dinkum, what is this government on about? Where are their priorities? Trying to provoke some sort of a union war I guess? I reckon half the country or more might start wearing the Eureka flag in protest if this gets some steam.
Elsewhere, has anyone else noticed the black spot on Bill Shorten’s left temple in the last day or so? I’d be off to the melanoma clinic if I was Bill.

Superb TV Series on SBS, Mr Insider, called “Engineering Space” about Mans pathway to the Moon Landings in ’69- ’72. Even more proof of the massive and expensive effort to achieve this amazing feat. There are still a few “dinosaurs” stuck back in the 1950’s Cold War era who are in denial of the feat but they also “bleat” rubbish on other World events too akin to the “Flat Earthers”, bless their cotton socks.

Just settling in to watch Kyrgios play Zzerev in the Davis Cup, HB. Great tennis this weekend.
De Minaur took the world no 5 to 5th set tie breaker – how good is that.! Such a pity he lost in the end.
Could be a tough afternoon for Australia.
Superb Boadicea top class Tennis. Cheers
Are we getting the Feeney article, Jack?
Oh yes. Silly me.
Nice to see ABC Insiders back on for 2018, Mr Insider, and apart from watching the mind numbing Turnbull flap his gums “Talking Pictures” as always a highlight, today with James Jeffery.
