We have lost a truly beautiful Australian. Conductor and music educator, Richard Gill passed away earlier today. He was 76 years of age.
I had the privilege of knowng Richard. He was a spectacular man, always interested in how other people were getting on. His lifelong vocation as a teacher of music will be his legacy.
He understood the great power of joy. A huge and irreplacable loss. Vale Richard Gill.
And here is a Facebook post featuring musicians playing Dam Busters outside his hime yesterday. Richard would have loved it.
Blowing a gale here so I went to a movie. I saw Three Identical Strangers – true story narrated by the people involved.
So interesting and thought-provoking. If it’s in your neighbourhood go and see it. Amazing story.
Footy tips Jack
Ok.
So 70 so called asylum seekers on Nauru are refusing to go to the US because they would have to work and not receive welfare! If this doesn’t expose the truth about what they majority of these people are about then what does?
as I said, Leigh Sales got him with a straight one,

You’re incomprehensible when loquacious, smoke.
and unpublishable otherwise
Ex-RioTinto boss? Puhleeeese. Someone like Tubby or Chapelli should be head of CA. Change the selectors & the rotation system while you are at it CA. Perhaps the PMs XI should be the official Aus team.
and didn’t that show when the pay negotiations were on.
Great Stuff!!!!

OCTOBER 31, 2018 AT 1:06 PM…OK from previous blog….I have moved over-I have never heard of Richard Gill as a muso…I am a huge fan of Vince Gill though who has recently joined The Eagles.
Yes it seems Richard was an esteemed educator.
Champion BASSMAN let me know if you decide whom you are voting for in the upcoming “main bout” in May they say. I still can’t decide sadly, we both may have to sit this one out Cheers
For the 1st time since 2007 I am voting Labor……as much as I dislike Stan. I can think of no government that has achieved so little with no World Recession to deal with like the last Labor govt that achieved so much compared with this rabble. This mob -easily the worst govt since Federation. The still say McMahon was our worst PM. Nor anymore. Abbott wears that crown now. A wrecker, a liar and a do nothing PM…oh but “I stopped the boats”. Nothing in the national interest or the economy to speak of though. Labor had unemployment at 4.0 during 2008 during the World Recession FFsake…this mob are trumpeting a figure of over 5%. I won’t go on about debt, housing affordability, petrol and electricity prices, pollution emissions, foreign relations, refugees-by their own yardstick this lot have failed miserably. They are spending their last death throes laying minefields for the incoming Labor govt. Sad Cafe
