I’m going to miss Rodney Culleton. He has painted a vision of a libertarian Australia where our laws and indeed our entire legal system can be casually brushed off with a badly spelt submission.
Got a bill you’d rather not pay? That mortgage you’ve taken out bearing down on you? Parking fines piling up? Don’t fret. Fire off a diner’s menu of grievances to the High Court. Easy-peasy.
Welcome to Rodney Culleton’s Australia, a state of societal perfection where paying one’s creditors is voluntary, actions have no consequences and people can, nay must do, whatever they feel like.

Like no nation and the cons.

Senator Dodson. Well done Sir. Excellent speech.
Looks like Pat has also decided to be disingenuous take Duttons comments out of context. Dismal I take it you have read what Dutton said and like the rest are just being mischievous.
Didn’t recognise him without the hat
Mack the Knife.
Don’t know where the Ward at the start come from, maybe breaking into the lines I think.
For your sake, Rodent I hope it’s got nothing to do with Roz Ward coz if it is i’d be keeping a close watch on your nads if I was you. So put your Trump speedo’s away for a little while mate.
WardMack the Knife 09:05am.
The snouts in the trough at ABC seem to make a habit of persecutions and accusations keeping lawyers rich over time.
Dennis Shanahan Tuesday night on Fox with Mark Lathan and Ross Cameron delivered a scaving report on universities delivering bias political grubby classes now showing results giving negative polling like the farce results delivering a Trump victory. Journalists quality coming out of universities has gone into negative results same as America when 98% bias media got the election wrong.
All the spiteful denigration and media prosecution on Trump gives a 180 degrees from voters voting in the circus clown Trump who seems to now winning over the ferals in the rent-a-crowd in street marches out ready to hang him. Not only this election delivering a Trump reward, but shown how ineffective the disorderly conduct of protesters on TV showing that investigations shown 54% of them never even voted. What a shamble of ferals now in usual tribal cultural ,only have themselves to blame.
Delusional rant. I see you too are one of those that supports the sexual abuse of woman and the promotion of it along with racism, bigotry and outright lies to divide a Nation and unleash more crazies. Note the KKK and White supremacist groups celebrating.

Murdering our grandchildren. Are you really predicting the end of the world in the next decade or so? Even the IPCC isn’t silly enough to come into that!
Bella
exactly what parts of the world will be uninhabitable? Surely as some places become uninhabitable then other cold places would become more inhabitable?
This is just the start.
http://theconversation.com/sea-level-rise-has-claimed-five-whole-islands-in-the-pacific-first-scientific-evidence-58511
How sad it is for our planet that climate science is still debated when the evidence is indisputable.
I can’t help being reminded of the snide ‘disappearing islands joke’ dipstick Dutton & Abbott found so hilarious when anybody suggests that rising sea levels can be ‘fixed’ by just relocating. Seriously Razor get real.
Meanwhile the Kiwis have addressed the problem by jacking up the South Island a couple of metres.
I was on Sabai Island the other day and spoke with two old gents who had lived all their life on there and asked them if the had seen any sea level rise. They categorically stated no! Sabai of course isn’t looking for government climate change money to keep them going. Are you getting the picture yet or is the Torres Strait immune from all this?
Erosion, groundwater use and all sorts of things happen. Islands have been appearing and disappearing for millennia! If an Island suddenly appears, which hey often do, does this mean I can say global warming doesn’t exist?
And having jusvread the article again it actually says nothing of the sort! It actually doesn’t rule out natural climate variability! God please give me strength!
Bella 10:37pm.
I think shifty Sir Donald is programming his Trump plane a new Richard Branson model programming co-ordinates in GPS onto the moon and set up his own NASA climate change modelling to spy on Russia and China from his new Trump tower when built. Beware of the Donald on the march.
Cheers
I have noted on the blog in the past there has been support for another wolf in sheep’s clothing Sovcit Leyonhjelm. His bill being debated now is another dangerous lurch back in time. These people regressive and divisive.
I didn’t know he was a Fabian as well as a Senator.
Rather than trolling anyone who dare be to the left of centre right why don’t you actually have a look at what those you appear to support are pushing. You like others just troll to be the opposite and opposing view for the sake of it. Pathetic and No surprises you support such regressive bigots.
Very interesting article attached Mr Insider on how China is investing heavily in Rwanda, something we certainly didn’t know. Looks like it gives them a “hub” or base footing on the African Continent. Someone told us the other day China also making inroads into some of the South Pacific Islands? Certainly an expanding giant is China.

China has been investing in Africa for a long time, they already have a strong footing there. In fact is there somewhere China isn’t investing?
HB, China has been in Africa for donkeys years. Not always successfully. In fact China’s main target market is the third world. A lot of Chinese manufacturers never turned a profit on cut price manufacturing for westerners. The real game there was to then rip off the designs that were being manufactured and sell them – without labels – into developing countries. I should also point out that China went from having no qualified accountants to creating more qualified accountants than the rest of the world put together (my missus is one of those). China has now concentrated on educating designers – from fashion to industrial design. Expect to see that market flooded by Chinese in the future. Why is that important? Because those guys will have first crack at the markets being developed in developing countries, thats why. While the USA has been wasting blood, treasure, and prestige in the middle east China has been quietly going about cornering the rest of the world’s market, although China is not a good diplomat and it hasnt been that successful to date. A humourous example is that the Chinese always import their workers into Africa (being inveterately racist about Africans means that the high ups dont trust African workers). Those imported workers are treated terribly, although usually better than the African workers, employed on these projects. One group however, was simply abandoned at the end of a project in west africa and have been stuck there, without the money to return home to China, for years. The result has been that some people believe – wrongly – that China uses political prisoners for this work and then dumps them in the foreign country. Thats not true of course but I have actually encountered senior mining execs in Perth who adamantly believe it is.
By the way, two of my sources: the books “Poorly Made in China” and “China’s Silent Army: the pioneers traders, fixers and workers who are remaking the world in Beijing’s image”.
Barnaby Joyce, Mr Insider, what a man areal Aussie who says it like it is. He speaks the language of the People and has that common touch and he’s smart too. We like him very much.
Nossy, Nossy, Nossy…
Mad Barnaby is a disgrace.

JtI, The Gov’nor, Yvonne:
Yeah, right-oh I may have been marginally extravagant with my descriptor of Senator Culleton and he may not fit the mould of your everyday garden variety of squeaky-clean pollies. But he’s not on his pat malone. In that regard, it would be pleasant to see the noxious member for Griffith get her comeuppance in the Brisbane Magistrates Court. if it gets that far.
No longer believe in free speech eh? the case will probably even not stand. Her comments were innocuous and merely pointing out what has been in the general media since the time the case was reported. Talk about wasting resources.
Oh for once get your eyes checked. She defiantly contradicted the findings of the Federal Court Circuit Judge, and now faces a very good case of defamation. The only pity is the court judgement has a limit of $150k.
No longer believe on exercising legal options eh? Talk about a waste of space.
He’ll win and win well.
This is where defamation laws come in, she accused the student of perjury, voila, no need for 18c, the defamation laws will cover it. That’s the beautiful thing about free speech, you can do it until you defame someone.
You guys
Dismayed and others. This is before the courts now and we cannot be speculating on it. I’ve had to tidy up a few comments and delete others and will continue to do so. I do not want to have to attend a court and try and explain why publishing your comments was not in contempt of proceedings.
Fair enough JTI, and on that you might have a word to Hedley Thomas if you see him. His _news_ piece yesterday (not opinion!) stated that ‘The Labor parliamentarian who smeared a Queensland University of Technology student as a racist and perjurer … Ms Butler … suggested to a Q&A audience of up to one million viewers that Mr Thwaites had used the word “niggers’’’. I would have thought that was the question to be determined, but his mind seems to be made up!
I’ll understand if you’re reluctant to publish this comment, but in fairness it’s just quoting what was in the Oz yesterday.
That’s his business and that of Th Australian’s. This blog is mine.
