Malcolm Turnbull’s ticking clock — Newspoll noose around PM’s neck

Another year, another polly on the ropes over expense claims. Sussan Ley has been on the receiving end of a media pommeling and the collective wisdom is she’s been a naughty minister. She has been dispatched to Coventry and the view is she should settle down and grow accustomed to her new home.

As an observer of various entitlements farragoes over the years, I think Ms Leys’ spending puts her in exalted company, somewhere between Peter Slipper and the guv’nor, Labor’s Mal Colston. Spending $21,000 in a week or so on transport is extraordinary. I didn’t even think it was possible. With those frequent flyer miles, you can forget about the carrot sticks and chardy in the Qantas club. It’s foot-long lobster subs and Moët by the schooner. Hell, they’ll get you your own plane. Maybe even let you fly it.

The Minchin Protocol always sounded like a bad novel and now as it comes to its denouement, it is about as satisfying as an EH Holden Mechanics’ manual or anything knocked out by Clementine Ford.

    Bassman 02:35pm.
Your post does not balance in what real credential people hace sent out, such as ME experts Greg Barton on history and 22 nation coalition neautralizing ME in main areas to protects trade lives and weed out dictators like Sadam the butcher killing millions.
Your hate for America is typical of far left wing idealogy , hates America the world police .Just think Bassman if Sadam was still alive slaughtering many more millions and kicking women in the guts while shutting them down in living education etc. I gather the tirades of dictatorship is exceptable to you , Islam Koran no problem!
Obama left Americans with record factory closures , twice more debts , growth just 1.46%per annum having Congress turned on him no longer in decisions .He allowed Trump to win office . Bush after taking a pounding on worlds worst financial terrorism disasterWTC 911 , spent trillions on green energy projects for Obama to have a free start.
There is voter reason why Trump is in today so if you want to shake off your American bias left wing hate , start by uniting in getting the world moving .Stop all this wild conspiracy links that don ‘t match up with the higher credential experts .
Forget that ME stuff unless you prepared to listen to Greg Barton on this been up near battle lines.

i see Lord Snowdon has died. i am reminded of an old story,

the Queen is dong a visit to an Arts establishment and is being introduced along the line of notables by the director.. She gets to one chap and is told his name. he bows and says, “your majesty”,

the director, “Michael is a photographer. ”

The Queen, “How interesting, my brother in law is a photographer. ”

Michael, “Ma’am, what a coincidence, my brother in law is a queen. “

Mr Jack Uncle Reggie just came home from the restaurant stuffed after a busy day and said to Aunt Gwyneth he wants a dump, rump and a hump in that order. Is that wrong?

finally got to see the aus day lamb ad, didn’t split my sides, rather thought it was ho hum preachy.

but delighted to see the outraged being outraged, complaints that the ad company failed to recognise that aboriginals didn’t wear european clothing and lamb wasn’t native to australia.

And when they say ‘we’re all boat people’, I would suggest that the originals walked (although there may have been some canoes involved too.)

    Dismayed .
Having a little think back and a glance here and there at your posts.. You remind me of a NRL test match Australia vs England which erupted into a brawl, many sent off and bleeding after Tom Raudonikis and Tommy Bishop both small half backs started the big frontline forward exchanging punches. Both often threw punches by sneaking in the scrum when heads packed down not able to see where they came from until the scrum fell over or dispersed , Both these half backs ducked out the back forcing these big men to erupt into this brawl over few tests while both halves were hiding away from the action out the back immediately after . These two started many brawls this way with refs having difficulty controlling the game .
Dismayed ,. You on the blogs often set off the natives o n your side to respond after you trawling around the blog trying to get both teams actively involved into a collision on the net while you escape out of the way. Well done Dismayed , maybe you smarter then I thought taking a back seat while your back-up team takes over .

“‘Tom Terrific’ is impervious to pain. On and off the field Raudonikis was all heart and hustle. Determination and toughness marked his 20 Tests for Australia and his long career with Wests and Newtown and followed him to coaching in Brisbane and Sydney.” −Roy Masters
I will take you likening me to “Tom Terrific” as a compliment. I was actually playing very junior league for Western Suburbs when Tom Terrific was there. (Along with soccer for the Enfield Rovers and Swimming every morning at the Pool (Enfield Aquatic centre ) There was plenty for a youngster to d,o we lived at the on the cnr of Coronation Pde and the street that went straight down to the pool and ovals. I was a Graham Eadie fan though as his Mum lived across the street. Too pretty good sporting role models for kid of the day.

The Looters borrowing authority, the Australian Office of Financial Management, borrowed a further $1.6 billion this week, which means that government debt today reached a new record of $466.4 billion.
When the Looters won the 2013 election off a platform of paying off debt, the level of debt was just $273.1 billion under Labor. This means that in just over 3 years, the Looters have added a thumping $193.3 billion to government debt. That is just on $5 billion a month. Based on Morrison’s MYEFO statement, Looter debt is set to reach $601 billion in June 2020 and $648 billion in June 2027. Elected on a HUGE lie. Labor? TOTALLY SILENT ON THIS.

This is a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad government. Easily the worst we have ever had.

Billy Holliday? The WORST most INNEFFECTIVE opposition leader in history-the Invisible Man. With so much ammo to use against this lot he is just not there. Never been there. Could not defeat a mob who lied about debt, lied about the carbon tax destroying the universe-it never happened. Bill….please go away…but soon.

A REMINDER:- There are 34 wealthy, developed economies in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Of these, 32 went into recession during the global financial crisis of 2008 and 2009. Australia and Poland were the exceptions. Abbott in 2013 inherited a government with the third lowest debt in the world, unemployment as lows as 4.9 (2012 under Labor), 5.7% at the 2013 election/NOT 6.3 as it grew to under Hockey, record low interest rates, record low inflation, a AAA credit rating from ALL international rating agencies…a rating Costello never achieved. Nor did he score Finance Minister of the Year like Swan did. We were one of only 8 countries to carry a AAA credit rating through the GFC. Most importantly, the Rudd stimulus, on Treasury advice, saved us from recession and avoided the loss of 200,000 jobs and in fact created 900,000 new jobs. Labor has received no credit for this from the Liberals or the media.

OK you guys may feel dejected at her past on mistakes , but don’t we all make mistakes John! Do we have to lower ourselves into calling a women following democracy a “mad”women”. I am sure you being a level headed bloke understrands all this , more then I can say with that other fool been a nasty mixed up bigot at work.

You’re attempting to crab-walk Bassy. Not a good look.

As I replied, in my response to your previous so called “21 points”, you built a house of cards. I deftly flicked out the key card and the remainder came tumbling down. They became irrelevant mate.
